Enthusiastic educator focused on language and culture—using technology to create more realistic, creative, and proficient learning experiences.
Yongluan Ye is an educator, instructional designer, and researcher specializing in technology-enhanced language and culture education. Current work spans high-immersion virtual reality for listening and speaking practice, AI-supported adaptive learning, and large-scale VR implementation in K–12 settings.
As DoDEA Grant Project Manager and Assistant Director of Chinese at International Leadership of Texas, Yongluan coordinates grants, teacher coaching, and professional development. At the University of North Texas, work as a research assistant and teaching assistant supports experiments, data analysis, and instruction in learning technologies.
Leadership roles include Chair of the Immersive Reality Special Interest Group with the Computer Assisted Language Instruction Consortium (CALICO).
